I am looking at the prospect of replacing the transmission on my 2003 Hyundai Accent (4 door sedan-powertrain warranty is voided). I am wanting to just find a used transmission. What years of this vehicle will be compatible to install in my vehicle?|||From info I gathered from this site http://car-part.com/index.htm it seems to depend on your engine.
If it's the 1.5L (SOHC) engine you can use year models 2000 to 2005. The 1.6L (DOHC) can take 2001 to 2006.
