How long do i have to keep my hyundai accent before trading it in for a new car?

ok i have a 2002 hyundai accent but i hate it and want another car. I owe 3,100 dollars on it but i want to trade it in for an better car, How can i do this or do i need to pay off some more of the car?|||Depending how much $$$ you have, you can do it anytime. The 'new' car dealer will payoff the h %26amp; add that to your 'new' car loan. But, you'll need a good credit number for that kind of a loan. Other way is to put the h up for private sale %26amp; start looking, just looking, for the new car. IF the h sells, than take that $$$ to the new car place for a down payment.
