My 2005 Hyundai Elantra makes a squeaky sound when I turn the wheel to the max, whats the problem?

(The car is a stick-shift) My 2005 Hyundai Elantra makes a squeaky sound when I turn the wheel to the max, whats the problem?|||The power steering system is at its maximum limit and therefore it is trying to do more than it was intended to do. Dont turn the wheel to the limit, kinda useless as the wheels hit a steering stop built into the system.|||Sounds like you might be complaining about a belt squeal. The belt tension might be a little lose. a way to check it is to spray a little WD 40 onto the inside of the belt and then try turning the wheel to one side and see if the noise goes away|||Sounds like you need to check your power steering belt

could be loose or just old
