What are the sizes of engines that will fit in a 2000 hyundai accent gs?

I want to know what other size of engines that will fit into a 2000 hyundai accent gs other than the 1.5 liter.|||There are probably a lot of choices BUT if you live in a State that has Emissions Testing, then changing the engine for a different/larger engine will cause the vehicle to fail the Emission Test. Also, your vehicle was built as an economy vehicle, so wanting to "soup it up " may not be all that good of an idea.............I enjoy the 35 - 40 mpg I get with my 2002 Accent !!
